Way Out West, There is a good chance your friend & this guy might know each other. Buddy used a lot of Neblett dogs to start his line. BuddyLee, This guy is also disgusted with the downward trend of game dogs & the direction they have taken. It is funny how in today's society how everybody looks down on game dogs but the old breeders were not looking at fighting dogs as a cruel sport. The breed has been bred for so long to be game, that is what all the old timers were trying to maintain. Extremely game dogs that would not quit.
Now except for a few dedecated breeders scattered thru out the country the game dog might become a thing of the past.
