 I get into pissing contests weekly with people on Facebook. You need to watch what you post. Pictures of dogs for sale on chains five feet long , crap every where etc. Keep your dogs healthy and your place picked up. Appearance plays an important part sometimes.
  If you can't keep your dogs healthy don't have dogs. Pretty simple. I am amazed at the number of people who have over 15 dogs. That's takes time and money. I don't care if you have 100 dogs as long as you take care of them.
