I received me vests in the mail today.  My initial thoughts are, built well, but a little heavier than I thought.  Larry put a bunch of drain holes in the vest to ensure water can drain.  Vests seem to be well built and he added a little bib to help protect the throat area.  He also added in a lead rope; I guess that was free or no charge.  I'm headed out to the kennels to feed dogs.  I'm going to put the vests on the dogs and see how they fit.

I bought a running vest from Larry and it is a little heavy and seems a little restrictive...also has a bib that I asked for and that was a mistake...this vest is good enough for a catch dog...I still have it but don't use it...I use some cheap ones I get from the local feed store and they are light weight and they have plenty of room to run in...to get the running room the hole for the front legs are a little big for the running/clearance of legs...but is a concern because that is a spot that can get hit, right above the elbow...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
