The red bulldog is REd, a 70# pit who was my best. If a hog broke he normally ran it down within 200 yards & it was caught.
 The dk. brindle pit with the vest was Billy, a 65# pit who looked like the devil himself, but literally would lick a stranger to death. This was around 1980 & some of the first vests we were making. It was made out of a heavy canvas, but it was bulky.
  Hammer a 85# pit who I got from Orval Roberts. This is how he always met me at feeding time. Whoever said pits do not have personality has just never been around them.
