Have ran in to this a few times not so much in farm country but in the hill country we catch 2 r 3 a yr with no ears,what i was told long time a go,the barr some get cut off,cause some one is mad at somebody for hunting there land,i c it most being done by the guy that thinks he owns every hog,and only he can catch them,the old folks in my neck of the woods say hog thief ,with both ears cut off,you c alot one ear hogs ,and other ear tore up from dogs.i have seen both ears pulled off by dogs,wen its done on purpose round here ,the top teeth are knocked out.good hunting.
