Quite the trend these days on forums. That good ol Facebook is even worse, lol.
I think folks tend to look way too far into things sometimes. I took this thread as a friendly heads up to be aware in that certain area that there may be someone cutting both hogs ears clean off which can obviously increase the already existing risk of injury to our working dogs. If I were running that area I'd appreciate the heads up. People do do this kinda thing. Who knows what possesses them to do so but id sure hate to run into somebody intentionally doing that for no reason. They'd sure get an ear full.
Yes of course we all know ears get torn off too, but if a hog has two clean cut holes where ears once were, it's sure likely they were cut off not torn. The world may never know lol.
Thanks for the heads up I'd say. I'm one of few women here on this board but sometimes I wonder, lol. Something so simple, can sure turn into something all over the place quick like.
