i think bottom is bred in dogs maybe 10% to do with the trainer like if you keep driving up on young dogs calling them out of a short race they will eventually learn to do that on their own, but traiing one to stay on a track i dont think is no trainign involved its genetics, a bulldog has a big heart but their not going to run a 6 hour race they are not physically able just like a poodle is not either, dogs are bred for different purposes by different types of people and people like diffrent types of genitics in dogs, it is possible to pick a mutt up off the side of the road and it make a good dog but odds are against you on that but i have hunted with some mixed dogs over the years that have ran and bayed hogs but why waist all that dog food on a prospect you know nothing about where it come from when its to many other good dogs out there to get a pup out of. lifes to short to feed a number 2eater and dog food is to high
