In the 90's we hunted a few redtick English. They were good dogs, tracked well, not ill in any way unless you were a coon. Handled well, I guess it depends on the strain, we had them and walkers. I'd go English if it was me, reason being, I think there's way more guys breeding the walkers geared towards competition hunting. That being said, I've been around some real nice walkers too.
