Slckhunter you bout summed it up.  Range don't bother me to much as long as they are busy mine range bout 0 to where the pigs are. Range is way over rated you shouldn't ask how far they go on a regular basis you ask how often do they find pigs when there isn't much around before any one gets crazy I do understand range and what it does.  I can vouch for ferris dogs they pretty dang good
