and as I have told raw feeders for years canines are omnivores and not true carnivores and need plant life to get all the nutrients they need that's why it is added to dog feed .
I read many ago the same thing...an example that was given was about mt lions and coyotes...a coyote catches and eats a mouse or cottontail and they eat the whole thing...and that includes what herbs, grasses and nuts as well that are from almost fresh to predigested that the varmit ate...if I were to feed raw meat I probably would supplement with some high quality dog food...
