Redwing will fit the boot to your foot. Yep, everything on the shelves are made in China, just about. But most folks want walmart pricing on everything they buy. So to get artificially deflated prices, you must have merchandise built with basicly slave labor. Of course, then all your manufacturing base disappears, and the people still working are paying all the govt programs for the folks are no longer have jobs. So we are paying cheap prices, but exhorbitant taxes. I' d rather pay for the product that my neighbor produces and let the red chinese pound sand. Thats my rant on chinese products.,, sorry
AMEN to that....we want low prices so we go to Wal-Mart...mom and pop stores that were in operation for many years went under when Wal-Mart came into town...
then we were sold out to the other countries like Japan, China, India...etc...etc...we gain temporarily...but we lose quite a bit in the long haul...the other countries standard of living improves...but ours will suffer...my feelings on the subject...
back then with the mom and pop operations we had credit at the country store and the hardware store in town...sometimes we bought a 1/2 box of shotgun shells and/or 3 or 4 bullets for the deer rifle...times change...
