Ive worn many different style of slip on and lace up boots (Ariat, Justin, Wolverine, Red Wing- you name it). I've also work several types of lace up boots when I was in service and I still wear them as a contractor. I recommend you look at some other manufacturers such as Belleville and Rocky. There are a bunch of manufacturers that make both western style and military or swat style boots. I manage a warehouse and I usually have a couple hundred pairs of boots on my shelves- most employees prefer the Belleville boots.
