Circle t I said few post back that you would be stupid to try in open or big country to keep up with a runner on foot there few guys on here that hunt where I do and they run cross the river and creek back and fourth and it is super thick in most areas. That is the main reason for being on foot. Far as bottom I wouldn't say my dog is big bottom but he will go the distance most of the time but he is pretty gritty and fast he has bayed a sounder of 30 plus hogs on several times he can be a knuckle head some times but he pretty solid
