  good luck !   my USED TO BE VET  sent my ol Catahoula Boudreaux home with me with the same advice but had him on smz/tmp . I tried to get the vet to keep him because he was dehydrated as well , but no dice said he'd be fine .  well long story short I lost the best dog on my yard the next night . he died laying at the foot of my bed . if I could I wouldn't wait till Monday .
