If you can get your hands on some nuflor or resflor it's used for upper respiratory problems in cattle and keep him hydrated even if you have to give him the fluids sub cue under the skin on his back, heck I would do that anyways if your not able to give an I.v. Just for the fact that he won't be able to throw it back up if he is not holding anything down
