That can get very frustrating. Your dog has probably learned that when there's a dead hog and you say "come here", that he's getting leashed and going home. He's just prolonging the fun he's having hunting. Dogs are usually all about perspective. If it's something you really want to break, than I'd take the time to work and train him. First I'd get him food motivated and try kibble or hotdogs as treats. Skip a meal if you have to, he wont stare. Start by giving a few treats "for free" but careful not to overindulge.  Move back a few feet and use your "come here" command and so on.  Best thing I have found is pulling on his collar when he comes to you so he's associates you touching him to the treat. Use lots of praise and good luck!
