Chris is right you might want to atleast watch someone do it.You can buy a video from L & H Branding Irons.We use Rumpam to knock them out it is getting harder to get so many drug heads use this stuff to make there dope.If you have a good relationship with your vet he might sell you some. Were are you located I will be glad to help you if you are not to far I still have some of my stuff.                          Chris I use surgical clippers!     I also have rumpam To knock them out.
