The one I'm starting now I let see a pig at 6 months. They were his size give or take a couple pounds. Put him in the pen he didn't really know what to think. He just kinda checked the pigs out . Had a bay dog outside barking. Put the bay dog inside and he nipped a pig. It squealed a lil and it was on. Pulled him off the ear. Let him go and he caught again. Picked him up and waited. He is a year old now. If u put him on the lead and get close to my pig he wants it. I plan to use him as back up for my RCD . Hopefully he will be capable of handling himself soon.
