Hog Hunting Near Misses...let's hear them...

We were shining a tree one night and my buddy was walking backwards and looking up. He fell off a pretty high bank down into the creek. Broke a couple of ribs. If the bottom wasn't muddy i know it would have been alot worse on him. Another hunt we were on, we were on foot hauling butt to the bay. This girl that was with us was in front of me. She's a hardcore hunter with her own dogs and stuff. Well we were tearing through a briar infested thicket about as fast as we could go and all of a sudden she said "oh $h!t" and disappeared at the same time. She had fell/slid down a pretty high bank. She was fine though. Another time we were hunting and i stepped on a rattle snake. He or she was stretched out and i realized what happend when it coiled up under my foot ready to bite me. I had snake boots on but it never had a chance to strike. That sucker never even rattled until i stepped on it. I guess the moral to these stories is, do like your mama and daddy said and watch where your going...lol...
