This is a lil different type close call. A couple years back I was down with a green very eager catchdog and we crossed a big pasture to get to a couple of young dogs baying just inside a woodline. Fella I was hunting with turned his old CD gyp in and said to send mine. As soon as they were turned loose a 2000# bull come busting out of the brush. His gyp come out with a look of confusion on her mine come out on a dead run for that bull. Luckily he went right by my partner who made a saving tackle to stop him. Thought I was gonna see a trainwreck on that one!
