About 1980 the wifey decided she wanted a garden. That was mistake number one. Mistake number 2 was I planted her a garden but made it too big. Mistake number 3 was thinking she was going to be doing all the gardening. I cannot believe all the work that goes into those things. It was like a prison, weeding, spraying, fertilizing, watering it, you name it. That one year broke me from ever wanting to be a farmer. My hat's off to all of you that do plant gardens. To me,nothing tastes better then sweet corn or fresh tomatoes but I will buy my veggies from the local market. Saves me a ton of time & sweat.
