Not good

Dang, what a bad deal right there. Sorry to hear that. I'll never get back in a canoe. I didn'tknow how easy they would flip and i turned one over in the winter time on a small farm pond once. I was in blue jeans boots and a big coat. It almost went real bad real fast. Water was so cold i couldn't move and all those clothes were full of water and heavy. It was well over my head. That did it for me and canoes. If i didn't try hard enough to calm myself down and stayed in that panic I would have drowned , simple as that. Real sorry to hear about your friend.
