Jason, I have one at my house now that is 13 yrs old and bred her this past spring, she had 7 healthy pups that are 10wks old now and both she and the pups are in great shape. 8 is not too old to breed her, just make sure to take good care of her while she is pregnant and weeening her pups, milk replacer mixed in her food as well as the pups food make a big difference and if you will start giving it to her before she has the pups it will help her and them out that much more.
