I've got a male dog that I've had this problem on/off for 5 years. It all went away when I swapped to victor dog food. Guess he might be allergic to gluten or something else in other feed. Dex would only help temporarily. But no problems since I put em on victor the last six months. Plus my dogs have never looked better.
