Gonna cost you no matter what. One way or the other. I've seen them take the leg off at the hip and they turned out ok with very little limping or slowing them down and I've seen them take one off where it turned bad and infection set in and he lost the dog. Mine cost me close to 800 bucks for pins, but the little dude turned out great with it. If shattered too bad then she may have infection set in and you lose her, but that can happen after surgery too.
Sometimes it a hard choice. Good luck with whatever you do.
