All of my track dogs but one are bird dog and bird dog crosses. I have two full blooded and three crosses. Two are 3/4 Bird 1/4 Fl Cur, and the other is a daddy daughter bred 7/8 bird 1/8 fl cur.
Pros: Stamina, Bottom, Good Nose, Stays busy, Med Range, Fast, Gritty, Very Smart
Cons: Some are hard to get started. With all the energy they have, I've had a couple that want to run instead of worry about the hog I'm trying to get them to work. But once they learn to focus, its on!
