when I was younger I used to buy the Discover and the Scientific American magazines and read about the latest breakthroughs  and I was especially interested in the cures that I knew were right around the corner...but they never happened...It took me a while to figure out that they (pharmaceutical companies) will give you a smoke screen so we can feel good about what they are doing for mankind...but in reality they are not looking for a cure...they are looking for better treatments so we are practically drained of our accounts before we die or hopefully get well...seems like it has been a very long time since a major breakthrough...the biggest is probably antibiotics for bacterial infections...polio was a vey big business until a doctor found a cure that cured his wife and the many millions more were cured and that about broke the medical industry...but they learned well from that breakthrough/cure...

not that long ago 2 scientist were awarded the Nobel Prize for finding a cure for acid reflux but somehow that one was swept under the rug and that daily purple pill was introduced as the best thing ever for treating acid reflux...again the key word is treatment and not a cure...

there is a home remedy for a cure but no pharmaceutical company in there right mind will pursue that on account it is natural and natural can't be patented...at least not at this time...

what would happen to the economy if there was a cure for all cancers? Just a trip to the family doctor and a 20 dollar prescription...one pill a day for two weeks and you were cured...  Cool

mental illness cured the same way...Heart/diabetes...mental illness...

speaking of mental illness...there is a group that has improved those with certain types of mental illness with way better results than with prescription drugs...a better treatment for ADD, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, and depression...it is done with certain types of vitamins and the FDA has done their best to shut them down...

The FDA is made up of a group of high powered individuals which also includes many Pharmaceutical CEO's...must I say any more...

it's all about greed...

I was going to talk some on the stock market but I think I will pass on that one...I lost a lot of money learning how to play the game...I learned to not listen to all the news because most of the time when they say sell, sell, sell...the suckers are selling and the big boys are buying...someone has to sell before someone else can buy...and when they say buy, buy, buy...we buy so they can sell...I have seen other tricky plays...the only thing I will say is I operate strictly off of trends and when a report is fixing to come out that can be a big changer in the direction of the market I sit on the sidelines...

The thing that bothers me most is that there aren't many retirement programs left...only 401k type of programs and we are depending on those plans as a retirement and in reality we are gambling with our futures...the majority of the workforce do not care to learn about investing...I can't say I blame anyone for that...

GREED is the root cause in why we keep heading in the wrong direction which eventually will lead to severe changes in how we live and we should start trending in the other direction...towards less human population...

Why do the world leaders continue to encourage Growth...because it helps the economy...meaning more money in their pockets...and in reality if we are land owners, homeowners, business owners, we are basically in the same boat...it is all about supply and demand...if the population trends down and we have a surplus of homes the value will fall...we as home owners do not want that...the taxes will drop as well be cause of lowered values...all businesses will falter due to less business...all the stock holders will lose money because the stock prices will fall...most everyone will suffer because of it...

so in my mind we will continue in this direction until it is almost too late...we will change because it will become a necessity to do so...but even if we stop abruptly that momentum we have created will take us far in the same direction before we see a change for the better with our environment...I hope it won't be too late for those that will be here to see it...

you ask a country boy that was born 50 years ago in the wide open country about the world population and more than likely he will tell you it is bad today...you ask another person the same question that was born and raised in an apartment in New York City and he will probably tell you it is all good...the more the merrier...

depending on where  we are born has a lot to do with how we perceive different situations...that is until we become better educated...

My hope is that more and more folks will see what I see and when we all become one voice we will make the hard choices to save us from ourselves...and hopefully it will be the best possible decision for all of mankind as well as for all living creatures and species of plants/trees etc...

I may come across like I am a tree hugger, anti hunter, anti gunner...but in reality I dislike all those fanatics...I like to believe that I am with the elites in all those departments(ethical hunters)...I am some of all that I mentioned...but am very logical about it...I believe in hunting but also believe in monitoring to ensure the game I hunt is at a good balance for the species and the environment and if it means not hunting that game for a few seasons to regain a healthy population I would be in total agreement...I care about their habitat...I believe we should own guns if we like...but I also believe there are a few who shouldn't...etc...etc...

I seem to be off subject here but managing our resources and game has a lot to do with loss of habitat due to over population/growth etc...

turning the population around has a lot to do with all aspects of our economy...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
