Reuben, I agree with most all of the veiws you have presented in this thread and past threads. Be them political, environmental/conservational and pretty much spot on about hogdogs and breeding and selection as well for that matter...

It's often said that emotions are lost or easily confused in typing words on forums like this and other Internet media. I have seen it happen to others as well as been on both ends if it myself, by taking things typed the wrong way or having my words takin the wrong way. Seen countless times folks end up all bent out of shape with one another and when they actually meet or talk on the phone to one another they find alot of commonality and that they are both on the same side of most issues.

I read posts like yours, on most subject matters this board covers and your opinions are always eloquently and diplomatically presented that are laid out honestly and pasionately and there is not much intrepretation needed to glean the intent you are conveying. So; 'Reuben's ramblings' are a real pleasure to read and I imagine they would be for folks that didn't agree your views on topics (be it dogs right on thru to off topic)would probably have to say that as well.

Thank you sir....

Now in your earlier post you stated, you don't agree with migration.

That is interesting and I think it leads into the other issues you touched on as well.

The population of the world is growing exponentially. This is a fact as you stated and I too believe it is totally unsustainable for the planet as big of a footprint one human makes compared to most other animals, much less billions of humans.

This is not the 1400's, the 1800's or any other era in human history further back or further forward to the present. There is now more untamed (or very little) where a handful of large countries can conquer and colonize like our ancestors did on every continent no matter your particular race.

Nature has checks and balances. The strongest should be the ones to survive.

Humans are afforded avenues to migrate away from these natural checks and balances.

If the Arabs can't grow their own food and over populate their regions or just can't get along with each other because of nutty radical veiws, they should be forced to deal with it themselves. Same with the Africans, the North Koreans and other asian nations, the folks from south and Central America, as well as Europe and us in North America. If these societies implode it's natures way of culling. Indeed it's the human species way of culling the weak and ignorant.

This whole world globalization should be halted. All countries should close their borders and hash out their own futures drawing upon their specific national experiences of their past.

Nuthin seems to mess up a society worse or quicker then constantly melding, or trying to, folks of different beliefs together.

That's the reason we have Muslim, Hindu, Christian, atheistic etc nations to begin with. Folks of a like mind naturally get along better together.

I undrrstand that America is a bit different. We are the land of the free. We've always had many dif races creeds and religions co-mingling and coexisting together, peacefully for the most part and ever changing slightly thru internal revolution. Which historcally turned out better for all to exist happily together.

We have to or we suffer the consequences of a large cull. As we should...

In the 80's 90's the races of this country seemed to me to get along way more then they do today. Everybody seemed to be moving forward and healing. I, in my lifetime, I'm 44, have never seen this country more divided. Maybe we are headed for a big cull here... Maybe it's due to migration of dif cultures religions and races becoming overwhelming. When mixing paint you mix in a little at a time if each color you have and you always tend to end up with the same final color. When you pour a big glob of one color real fast it changes drastically. At the same rate of mixing you never get back to the continuity you originally had. (These colors could be a metaphor for race or religion or culture or whatever)

One thing I'd like to address said by another poster about assimilation. Islam doesn't assimilate. It's fundamentally again their 'religion' culture. To do so would be a great sin for them. They are called to change or isolate then in turn exterminate infidels.

And all these humanitarian efforts we always hear about. Pledging billions around the world to bail out folks from problems of their own making is just accelerating the BIG cull. Instead nature should be allowed the mini culls to take place. It's a check. It's the strongest survive natures way. If they overpopulate or their culture hasn't advanced enough to cope with what the earth has in store then they should have to suffer the consequence and reach their own balance.

Haiti was a good example of this and there are many more.

Anyway...like you I tend to get up on the soapbox and probably bored alot of folks to pieces... Sorry lol

What do y'all think about what this guy has to say?
Anybody been following retired admiral Lyons?
It kinda addresses some things along the lines of my first two links...
