Yeah I wouldn't do anything stupid. fair is fair.  But the law is the law.  I use to be pretty hot headed when I was in my late teens and early 20's. I would just assume throw down with a man than talk it out. But I learned some valuable lessons during those times. When I say fair is fair , but the law is the law....I mean it would be very fair to whip a man (or worse) for stealing your dogs. But on the other hand its still illegal.  Might go to jail (or worse). It sounds like your on the right track.  Keep doing what your doing and pressuring somebody to do something about it.
