The best way to know is put her to work and see what she does. Chances are she will be to rough to drive with but may be just right to handle waspy running off cattle. Just go try her and see what happens

I agree with this. 

Don't worry about all the mentality and theory stuff from people that post about what they read or heard.  Example, one of my plott dogs catches most every hog he sees....he will bay the heck out of a cow though and will not get closer than 15 feet.  The first time he went into a cow pasture I was hauling butt to get there to keep him from catching.  He may change over time if he was consistently on cows but the point is, you wont know unless you try.  Chance are, she wont be too ruff right away.  She may be just rough enough....especially if she is only started.  Also depends on your definition of started.
