I didn't read everyone's post so I'm probably going to say the same as some of the others. If you don't really know anything about the dog then go to the vet and tell them you want the pill that kills all worms,  They will give you two pills one for that day and one for two weeks later, also give it about 3/10cc of ivermec, and buy you a red bag of Victor dog feed which it's 24/20 and within two weeks you want be able to recognize the dog.
