Each dogs totally different my strike dogs in general are very rough but get hot with a vest and they generally just get a cut collar my catch dogs whether running or on a lead always wear gear.I also hunt around water 9 times outa 10 and this plays a big role in my decisions.I own about 20 different vest that collect dust haven't ever really found one that I am comfortable with on my strike dogs.
