i dont run vest. every now and again ill put one on my bulldog but im not that guy that wont let my dog go because i forgot the vest at home. i hunt thickets and ive seen peoples bulldogs getting hung up going to bays and thats only running 100 or so yards i know a curr dog cant run in that stuff with a vest on for a few hours without overheating or getting slowed down. if it gets real bad a curr dog will back up and bark and after a few time of getting carried back to the fourwheerer they have learned what causes them to get cut and thats getting to ruff. i would not start one with a vest i would just hunt the dog and hope he figured it out and if he didnt id hunt him as long as i had him.
