 It's actually exactly what I don't want. I want him to be rough as hell. I want him to be so hard all over a runners ass that the pig feels he has no choice but to turn around and whoop this dogs ass. And then when the pig spins I want him to back up and hammer away. Yes I know we wish that was every dog we own, or atleast I do.

this is the type of dog I hope to breed...they can catch as well...but be smart enough to back and bay until I get there if needed...then catch or back off depending on my command once I show up...

I have seen more than a few 1/2 bulldogs hunt like a cur and range out far and they did not have a long life span...they had the hard hunt and grit of a good mt cur with the bulldog catch on top of that...the long range hunt and the bull dog catch worked against them...

I am looking for that fine line in a pack of dogs...
