sorry to hear about your friends dog. i know here in california she would be well within her rights to shoot any dog on her property pursueing or threatening any wild or domestic animal. and i was told in court years  back that the minute my dog went onto a property  i was guilty of hunting tresspass. he said our dogs were acting as our agents.
