Connor is a great fighter and I think the real deal even though he got whooped. Nate was a bad match up for him cause he is very long, has decent hands, can take punishment, but is really skilled on the ground as well. But what people have to remember about Connor is he is a one trick pony, it is an absolutely great trick but in the end still very one dimensional. Connor's main strengths are his striking and foot work. He has some other really good attributes that go with those too but that is what makes him what he is. Chad Mendes exposed him to what a good wrestler could do to him, he just couldn't maintain it as some other wrestlers can. I would have been real interested to see how Dos Anjos would have done with connor as in his fight with Pettis he was able to keep that pace up all 5 rounds. I mean Dos Anjos is no where near a world class wrestler but still has good ground and pound.
At connors weight 145 he is the real deal. But he is far from unbeatable. Holly on the other hand I was never sold on at all. I watched her fight that rocky chick back before she fought Rhonda and barely win, and the girl (Raquel) is a C level fighter at best. Styles makes fights and she came in the best shape of her life, with a great gameplan from a guy who is very good at gameplanning to fight Rhonda who prob didn't even know Holly's name and was not properly trained, or in shape and did not take Holly serious as she thought it was going to be another 30 second fight. Not saying Holly won't get anymore good wins but she is waaayyyyyyy too one dimensional to hold the belt for any length of time.
