I use hardcore hog dog bay vest on these younger rougher dog haven't had any problems with getting one to fit em good haven't had any of rub my dogs and they can move swim everything just fine. They have done saved me from so vet bills and my young male being out of business or dead so has done payed for it self in my book. I am like you I don't want loose this male at young agethat is the bay vest
