Heat rises of course. So depending on your using as a whelping box, put a couple small fans in the top with some hole cut out to draw the stagnant hot air out and pull fresh air in and a bigger fan blowing air into the entry way of the box. If you have an open top box, just keep air circulating over them and keep them in the shade at all times or as much as possible. U could get fancy and rig up a water mister to keep the cool, similar to a swamp cooler
