They are 20 years too late to try to regulate hog movements by humans. The hogs are everywhere now and will continue to spread on their own. Someone recently said something about hogs that makes sense. He said the only real threat to these hogs is an open market. If there is money to be made by hunting and trapping them, people will put a dent in their population. Our market now is only to canned hunt facilities and now they want to make it more difficult to deliver to them. At least they still recognize the general public as a resource to control the hogs. Several states are outlawing hunting of feral hogs altogether. That makes no sense to me, I figure everyone that takes a hog by whatever means they prefer is helping to control them.
