bc those panels from tac or doc bob are sh&$. they rust out way to fast or the welds are sh%$ and the break. plus the wire is a lili thin, but does work. as for no more strength, you are wrong. a woven mat is a lot stronger than a mat made up of wires played on top of ea other and then spot welded, which i don't have a spot welder and not buying 1 either. even using using that 2x4 welded wire isn't as strong as a woven mat. we had many a gun cages made out of different material, mostly woven mat, but we did have some cattle panel utility panel style cages and we had problems with the spot welded strands that were just played on top of ea other, separating and becoming weak. it my pocket book, and I'm telling anyone else that is the only way they should do it, its how i want it done, and i want it like that, because iv seen the strength put to the test, especially with young dumb soldiers, just throwing the gun cages around, or half's loading them on the 10K and falling off half way up to be loaded onto a 2 1/2tn. the woven mats are also used on MRAPS for the front and side windows as an RPG protector/deflector. it actually didn't deflect, it would more so, catch the RPG and prevent the fused tip from impacting the windows and detonating. iv seen them come back with RPGs stuck in them, EOD would remove the round and the tck was sent back outside the wire. so as for no more strength, again, you are wrong. i am not saying RPGs will be shot at my dog kennels, I'm just stating actual observations as to how strong a woven mat is, compared to welded wire or the 2x4 panels you were talking about.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!
