I haven't hunted hogs much at night ....I don't feel I can train the dogs  I like as well at night ...its not about catching the hogs for me its  training the dogs ...I have  caught enuff hogs for me ...now these  boys here that hunt with me  is all about catching.......I like the sign to be a few hours old so I hunt about 7am to about 11 and head in .......  hunt later and longer in winter ........ I  do think some hogs may stand better if  you can stand him up in his bed rather than him up rambling and get jumped ....... and they do ramble more at night and should be a lot easier to jump .....

Mr Parker you been doing this a lot longer than me do you think it helps to take a young dog that's proved he can find a hog in the day and hunt them at night I always take mine after they are doing good and hunt them at night I have always thought it help to round them out a little .
