well since you posted that there was weapon involved, if you would have left us all out the type of payment, knocked the dogs in the head, and reported the weapon as stolen, then it is a he said he said and with no proof of the dogs at all. sometimes you gotta just leave others out of your business and handle your own business as it comes.
BUT!!!!!, there have been many threads about this specific situation and as the judge peel said, know who you are buying from, especially for that kind of money. in addition, if a dog of value leaves my yard, even with cash in had, i write out a contract in front of the person, with both our agreements in the contract, a copy of ea others drivers license, and ea person gets a copy. but then again, i honor my deals and have only had 1 person from Missouri screw me, but there wasn't money involved, so i let it go, but know not to deal with him again. some folks have honor and integrity and some should be knocked in the head, its a vicious cycle and at times, we all have had dealing with it on 1 end or the other.
