That has always scared me to the point that if I am with other guys and we still have dogs on the bikes when we get ready to go to the bay I will make someone stay at the bikes or I will stay myself to make sure it doesn't happen. Ive seen a couple lost in similar fashion over the years and hate it. when I go by myself to a bay I take whatever dogs i have on the wheeler off and clip em to tree's for that exact reason. I sure hate to see that you lost one. Hard lesson learned amigo, sorry for your loss.
