Tdog I’ve heard that before about a female have better quality offspring at younger age and the quality of the offspring declining the older she gets, I understand them not having as many as their eggs are used up but how does the quality of the offspring decline, not poking or anything just asking out of pure curiosity...
And my lil girl gyp is out of same female I mentioned above and I’m about to wean 3 males off her and the stud dog off the old b!tches last litter, and Girl is approaching 10 and still as springy but much calmer and smarter as she was when she was 4, longevity is then gene on top and bottom of this family of dogs, the males I bred to originally all lived to be in their teens and one produced fertile semen up until he died, it’s definitely a strong gene in these dogs that wasn’t purposely selected for...
