I use casteroil and alum (pickling spice) mixed into a paste for cuts that they won't leave alone. Oil helps it stick and anybody on here old enough knows how good it tastes, the alum draws. Casteroil is in most pharmacies and alum is in the spice section of the grocery store. It works very well.
