Fort Dodge also makes the modified live virus. All these are good responses. Cocidia can be carried by birds of any type. It doesn't have to be chickens. If they defecate or even drink out of the feed or water your dog has access to then they could potentially get it. I almost think the amerigo pup had parvo but suspect this one could have cocidia. Mainly because cocidia although deadly, doesn't typically work as fast as parvo. The amerigo went quick. Hydration is key, keep the fluids going. Antibiotics aren't going to do.much in my opinion except kill good floura that is needed in the gut. I would put some probiotics down it and treat for cocidia and pray like hell it works.
