Muddy, I sold the Kemmesabbe dog when he was almost two. He was a running catchdog on hogs and I knew it was a matter of time before he would get killed by a big hog and he had more respect for a bear.  His Daddy, my Ranger dog was the same way and was always getting whacked up. Ranger lost a eye, had to have a leg amputated and he was fast enough that I still hunted him and he could stay with the other dogs for about 3 hours. He got cut up one day and we thought we had him all patched up but he hemoraged and died during the night. If I would have known what kind of reproducer he was, I would have retired him when he lost his leg. Trapper and Trouble were not related close altho they had a lot of common ancestors back a few generations on the Weems side.
Mike the Knife always has a few knives laying around but he builds custom orders too. You would have to contact him for prices.Every knife he makes is hand forged out of a known steel. He just got a big hydrolic hammer press in so I know business is about to pick up. He was telling me since he has been hog hunting with me, his knife making has slacked up some. lol I guess I am a bad influence and he was really bit hard by the hog hunting bug and he has 3 Plotts I gave him and a couple of pups to get him started. He is ruined and I think his wife hates me. lol
You would need to contact him for prices on the knives.
