My brother started feeding one back around 1980...he had a tattoo in his ear with numbers but didn’t know who owned him...he named the dog bone on account he was nothing but bones when he first showed up...
We took him with us for a while...slow on track and fairly cold nosed...when he got on a track he more than likely would put a big boar at the end of it...several times it was him and an Airedale would catch on each ear...other times there were other dogs helping...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
