It’s almost not fair to say redbone for me because he was 50/50 redbone/American bulldog but I will say this I had him and one of my curs I bred and those were by far hands down the best dogs I ever owned and I was sadly still a teenager when I owned these and didn’t truly know what I had back then. My redbone barked the first hog he had ever saw and was silent from then on but that SOB caught harder then any bulldog I ever owned. I got called a liar many times for saying how he was bred until you got to hunt behind him. He looked 120% redbone but caught 120% bulldog.. he absolutely had the best of both worlds and I’ve wanted another one since I lost him but I’ve been to scared I’ll never duplicate him so I’ve never tried and never owned a redbone since him
