He’s a nice looking dog…it sounds like his foundation is really good…
I would breed him to one of his best daughters or relatives…
I put as much emphasis on the foundation as I do the dog I’m looking
at to breed…and sometimes more…
Thank you Rueben. I really wanted to breed him to his paternal aunt. She was a very nice dog with a similar style and look to him. Unfortunately the guy who owned her quit hunting and she was his family dog. He would not breed her. I have access to a couple of half sisters on the maternal side but I like the top side of his line better.

In all honesty I have never really wanted to be a breeder. I would rather find me a dog supplier and buy weaned age pups and the occasional started or finished dog from them. Finding the dig supplier has turned out to be harder than breeding my own!
